Mr. Nobuhiro Kawaguchi CEO of Kens.Co; Ltd had a meeting with Toshimitsu Motegi (茂木敏充), Minister of Foreign Affairs, Japan on Dec 22th, 2020. Minister Toshimitsu Motegi (茂木敏充) was very glad and appreciated our activities and future corporation in Africa. They had talked about renewable energy issues in Africa and how Nobuhiro Kawaguchi san has started his mission from the Kyushu region as a small SME firm.  That fruitful discussion will lead us to move forward in Africa with new ideas and corporations as well.     

On March 25th, 2020 Forbes Japan published its 5th version of 2020 where Kawaguchi Nobuhiro CEO of Kawaguchi Steel Industry Ltd was on the cover page on such a version.  Forbes Japan published an article of how the Kawaguchi Steel Industry helps Africa to light up through solar energy. He won the Grand Prix of Small Giant Awards 2020 by Forbes Japan this year. How he guided his company Kawaguchi Steel Industry that established in 1930 as a roof construction company. January 20th, 2020 Forbes Japan presented the “Small Giants Award” national competition in Japan. Kawaguchi Steel Industry (a group company of Kens.co) won the Grand Prix. 120 companies were nominated for Grand Prix awards. Among those competitors, the Kawaguchi steel industry selected for such awards finally.  In the first of the regional tournament, six companies gave presentations on the stage where judges and visitors voted for the Kawaguchi steel industry for the grand prize for the year 2019-2020.
