GOODS ON ROOF ( sister company) of Kawaguchi Steel Industry in Benin has installed 20 streetlights for the project of IOM ( International Organization for Migration). The streetlights have multifunctional services for the communities in Benin. They come with Wi-Fi and LED lights. It installed in Materi-Banikoara, Hillakondji, Benin. Many illegal migrants from other African countries cross Benin’s borders. This is the first time in Benin, have such multifunctional streetlights as part of a project from IOM. More than 20 devices can be connected from a single streetlight, as well as LED lighting at night for 10 hrs during sunny days. It has a power-reserve mode lighting system for 2 days if cloudy weather lasts a long time. It will boost security, global communication, and business hours at night for the communities.
